THERE IS A CHILD IN ALL OF US, AND THAT'S WHO I MAKE MUSIC FOR.

HELLO,

FRIEND!

I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE.

I'M JJ. I LOVE JESUS, MY HUSBAND, MY TWO BEAUTIFUL GIRLS, DARK CHOCOLATE, & WRITING SONGS TO REMIND YOU THAT YOU ARE LOVED.

At some point in our lives, we all want someone to believe in us, to remind us there is beauty in the world, and to tell us that everything’s going to be ok.

THERE IS A CHILD IN ALL OF US, AND THAT’S WHO I MAKE MUSIC FOR.

Since 2017 I’ve released A NEW SONG to digital platforms as a monthly release. This year I’m going to be sharing a new song with you on the first, and third Friday of every month!

I’m never quite able to comprehend that millions of you listen to my music regularly. It is an incredible honor to know that thousands of mothers play my lullabies for their children every night. I’m thrilled every time I hear a story about a worried or broken heart being soothed by the songs I’ve sent out into the world.

I’m only playing a handful of events in 2024, but even though I’m not out on the road much, I remain committed to creating meaningful songs for the big and small moments of your life.

I’m grateful that you would invite my voice and music into your home.

Thank you for listening!

UPCOMING ALBUM

COMING FALL 2024

I’ve lived in my home outside Nashville, TN for longer than I’ve lived anywhere in my life. This July it will be 10 years!

We had no idea how many beautiful memories this place would hold… that both our kids would learn how to ride their bikes in the alley behind our house, that we would splash in puddles and chase butterflies on our walks to school in the morning or that I’d have a little garden full of flowers I could give to friends when we met for coffee.

Hundreds of songs have been written at the old black piano in the entryway and I like to think the walls will always hold the melodies. Coming home to this house feels like a hug from a mother: a place where I release the breath I didn’t know I was holding.

Whether we have happy or sad memories of our homes growing up, I think we all spend our lives looking for that place where we can belong, a place that’s familiar, inviting and safe, where we don’t have to pretend to be anyone but who God made us to be.

Can you tell I have a lot of big feelings about home? That’s why I’ve made it the theme for I Dream of You this year!

Now through October 2024, look for a new single from the album on the third Friday of each month.

I DREAM OF YOU

When we made the original I Dream of You back in 2014, we had NO IDEA how much it would connect so deeply with you. We didn’t know that over 150,000 CDs of the 2014 album would end up in the hands of parents of little ones. And we certainly didn’t know that these songs would eventually be streamed over 266 million times!

All I knew was I had a whole lot going on in my heart being a new mom, and I found myself writing song after song expressing my love for my daughters, Lucy and Nora. Those songs became my first lullaby album. It’s kinda funny to think that we put the sound of crickets chirping at the very end of I Dream of You, because that’s also what we heard from the public when it released ... crickets. 🦗 🤣 ⁣

If I’m being totally honest, I was disappointed. But it was a record that we knew we were supposed to make. Slowly over time, I Dream of You gained momentum. Moms kept telling other moms about it and before we knew it, it became my most popular album! ⁣

I’ve heard hundreds (if not thousands) of stories over the years from people all over the world telling me how God used these simple songs to bring peace into their homes. That’s why we decided to make I Dream of You: CALM in 2018. We knew families were hungry for peaceful songs, but this time you helped us (through Kickstarter) to up the production value and add orchestral arrangements and a choir and the result felt like magic.✨⁣

Then we made I Dream of You: LOVE - which came out at the beginning of 2021 - and decided it was time to revisit the original I Dream of You and give it a makeover and called it I Dream of You: SLEEP. We reimagined these lullabies that you and your families have already fallen in love with. We wrapped them in new orchestral arrangements and choral parts and the result is absolutely enchanting. 🌈⁣

Since then, I Dream of You: JOY, I Dream of You: CHRISTMAS, I Dream of You: FRIENDSHIP, and I Dream of You: HYMNS joined the series.

It’s easy to listen to these albums. Just tell your smart phone or speaker to:

“PLAY THE ALBUM ‘I DREAM OF YOU [HYMNS, CALM, SLEEP, LOVE, JOY, FRIENDSHIP or CHRISTMAS] BY JJ HELLER!’”

BOOK

I wrote a children’s book and it’s STUNNING!!!

Read this lovely little book (based on my song Hand To Hold - video below) with your kiddos before bed as both a blessing and a reminder that the face of God is shining on them even as they sleep.

Linger together over the gorgeously whimsical illustrations by Alyssa Peterson; then tuck your sweet child into bed with the assurance that no matter what may come in the future, they will always have your hand to hold.

If you’re anything like me, you might have a hard time telling your children exactly how you feel about them, and that’s why I wrote this book. It puts into words our hopes and dreams for our children. IT GIVES LANGUAGE TO OUR LOVE.

The book launched on July 20, 2021, and I can’t wait for you and your children to snuggle up and soak in these words as you turn every last beautiful page together.

"May the living light inside you be the compass as you go / May you always know you have my hand to hold."
