My sweet son is laying in the hospital recovering from a surgery today. He was fearful in the weeks leading up to it, so we made a playlist called "fear not."

He picked a variety of songs from different artists, but wanted JJ's entire "I Dream of You" album for "when he needed rest." Now here I sit watching him rest peacefully while listening the songs he knew would speak peace when he needed it. 

"When I'm With You" was our lullaby when he was a baby, but you can bet we still sing it now and again. And that tears were falling big time as I held Cooper's hand tonight and listened to our song.
