COMING IN 2025

Let me tell you a quick story …

Last year when we set out to make the next I Dream of You album, we started out trying fun songs full of nonsense like Bibbidiboppidiboo and Chim Chim Cheree, but what we quickly realized is that even though the nonsense songs were fun to sing, I need to feel a real heart connection to the lyrics or it just doesn’t feel right.

So we made a pivot and decided to call the album I Dream of You: FUN, but as we began our work on the album, we felt like the word FUN was just too much pressure for these songs. 😆

Someone might hear the song with the expectation of TOO much fun and they might be let down, so me made a second pivot and titled the album I Dream of You: PLAY.

It turns out this is the perfect title, because almost every time I play a song from the album for one of my friends they say “Oh, this is fun!” And I say, “That’s what we were going for!”

These songs are meant to be listened to while building with Lego, making dinner, or if you and your family just need a general mood boost and you don’t want to hear another Disney soundtrack.
